MARGINALISED CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE

Christmas assistance for children and young people in Skive

“This Christmas assistance from the Vissing Foundation is enough for presents for 96 children from families in financial difficulties in the Municipality of Skive. It makes a real difference,” says Camilla Sevelsted from the Bizz Up organisation in Skive.

Bizz Up works with the Health Services, the Family Centre, the After School centre and the Work & Training department in the municipality of Skive, to ensure that the gifts go to those who need them most. The target for 2023 is 500 presents for children or young people.

Camilla Sevelsted can see that there really are many families who have difficulty getting their economy to add up, and who need a helping hand with Christmas presents.

Employees from Vikan, which is owned by the Vissing Foundation, will also help to wrap the presents and deliver them to those in the Skive area who can look forward to an extra present this year.
