MARGINALISED CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE

Activities for vulnerable children

Børnehuset Siv is a non-profit specialised day centre that provides a community and play opportunities for vulnerable children aged 0-6 – and their parents. Siv has existed since 2000, and its purpose is to ensure healthy development for children with physical conditions or autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

The Vissing Foundation supports play activities that stimulate the senses, joint parties at Børnehuset Siv, and farm visits.

“We depend entirely on funds, private donations and companies who support our projects, activities and events. We are very pleased that the Vissing Foundation has decided to support activities that really make a difference for the children,” says Anja Riis Hofgaard, leader of Børnehuset Siv.
